I have taken a whole lot of photos of this precious little one, first we did a little photoshoot of her at her house and then I also had the privilege to take photos of the whole Botha Family.

This image triggered a memory. When I was a little girl, I just loved to play dress up and nothing was more fun for me on school holidays to sit and play with moms makeup (while she was at work off course).

I also remember how I would sit on her bed in the mornings and watch her applying her makeup. I have to say, I still love using my moms makeup!

This was a very special shoot for me … not only was it my second newborn shoot, but this little fellow is part of my family! He belongs to my niece , and it was so much fun to finally meet him in person for the first time especially after he was part of my first bump shoot!

And what better way to kick start 2011 than with a project… Yes, I have decided to do a photo project, but NO not the ‘a photo a day 365 project’ – I want to do this one as well, but due to the fact that I have a full time day job and a hubby, I will put this one on hold for now.

This is the first wedding I have done with her and my first wedding as a second shooter, actually 3rd shooter, her husband joined us later during the day. It was amazing to shoot a wedding with two professional photographers!

I was lucky enough to attend the RE.INVENT II workshop - hosted by two of South Africa's crème de la crème wedding photographers ( Dror Eyal and Andrea Carlyle ).

It is not often that you will find two people more than willing to share their knowledge. Thank you Dror Eyal and Andrea Carlyle, for inspiring me to stay authentic and true to my style.

Boy oh boy this was the best experience EVA! I learned a whole lot,had so much fun in one day and met some great photographers! I would love to do it again.

Here are some of my images taken at the workshop. I was overwhelmed with too many favorites so I decided to add my top images and my husband’s top images.
